The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences Slovenj Gradec is an independent higher education institution, founded by the Municipality Slovenj Gradec. In the year 2018 the institution went through a reorganisation and became a faculty. Its distinguished by excellence in the teaching process, as well as by selected lecturers with broad knowledge and experience from the field of health sciences.

The faculty can be distinguished by its high-quality study programs and the practical use of learned skills. The faculty is building on a partnership with the students, based on their active participation in the study program. The faculty differs from others, by combining health and social sciences, which are difficult to tell apart in practice.
